Idle Up Control

At extremely low ambient temperatures, Integra models use an ECU controlled solenoid, in conjunction with a diaphragm-type fast idle valve, to by-pass additional air into intake manifold. Coolant temperature of less than 14°F (-10°C) and engine speed of less than 1800 RPM are used to determine control of idle-up solenoid.
