Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor (V101)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)

Removing

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Remove the left front wheel.

- Remove the left front rear wheel housing liner.

- Loosen the hose - 1 -, remove the nuts - 2 -, disconnect the electrical connector - 3 - and remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor.






• Press the securing ring to disengage the hoses.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection System Overview ] Service and Repair.

Install in reverse order of removal.
