Rear Window Installation Information

• After positioning rear window and checking dimensions, it should be secured in upper area with a tensioning band.

• The rear window is pressed out of installation position in upper area by roof center section seal.






• Close roof until rear window frame is locked.

• Check whether height stops - 1 - are present.

• For the windshield gap and height dimensions, refer to => [ Rear Window Assembly Overview ] Rear Window Assembly Overview.

• Activator must not be applied onto distributing wire for window heater.

• Markings - 2 and 3 - for applying the adhesive - 4 - are made along the circumference of the rear window.

• Secure the rear window with a strap during the minimum curing time.

• If too much adhesive was applied and it spreads onto the window defroster, remove the excess.
