IMT Valve Actuator Inspection

NOTE:

The IMT valve actuator may be damaged if battery voltage is applied to it for longer than 10 seconds.

Limit the time of battery voltage application to the IMT valve actuator to no more than 10 seconds.

Connect battery positive (+) and negative (-) terminals to IMT valve actuator (2) as shown in table below. If IMT valve actuator pinion gear (1) does not operate in specified direction, replace IMT valve actuator. IMT Valve Actuator Removal and Installation
