There is no programming or setup required.

XM Satellite Radio

The XM satellite radio is integrated into the radio. If XM was activated in the previous radio, the new radio will have to get programmed separately for XM Satellite radio to function. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Programming and Setup (Digital Radio Receiver Programming and Setup).
