Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

- Remove engine cover.
- Remove engine compartment cross support.
- Loosen clamps at points shown (upper arrows) and remove air hose between Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor and intake manifold.







- Remove connectors from MAF sensor and Idle Air Control (IAC) valve as shown (lower arrows).


NOTE: Illustrations show engine with engine cover removed.


- Unclip cover from intake air silencer.





- Remove both screws, then press intake air silencer back and lift up.
- Remove both crankcase breathers and remove vacuum hose (arrows).
- Remove intake air silencer.
- Remove safety clip -1-.





- Carefully pry linkage out of ball stud -2- using screwdriver.
- Adjust linkage -3 until clearance -4- is 0.5-1.0 mm (0.020-0.040 in.).
- Install in reverse order of removal.
