New Part, Preparing

Replacement Parts

NOTE:

The longitudinal member reinforcement cannot be removed from the new part without destroying it and must always be replaced.

-- Loosen the original joint of the longitudinal member.

-- Remove the longitudinal member reinforcement from the front longitudinal member.

-- Loosen the original joint of the longitudinal member extension to the floor.

-- Drill in the area -1- through two panels.

-- Remove the longitudinal member extension from the front longitudinal member.

-- Remove any remaining pieces.

-- Grind the welding surfaces down to bare metal.

-- Drill the 8 mm diameter holes with for a gas-shielded arc plug weld seam.
