Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module -J764-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:

-- If necessary, replace the bracket -2-. Refer to OVERVIEW - STEERING COLUMN . For the allocation, refer to Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).

-- Tighten the new bolts -3- until the head breaks off.

-- Install the steering column switch module. Refer to STEERING COLUMN SWITCH MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Perform the operation using the Vehicle diagnostic tester .
