Seat Adjustment Control Module, Removing And Installing: Removing

If the Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module -J136- is replaced, perform the test plan for replacing the control module:

-- Perform the "control module, replacing" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

 

Continuation

-- Move the front seat as far back and as high as possible.

 

-- Open the tabs -arrows-.

-- Remove the control module -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2-.

 

Remove the control module bracket:

-- Press out the pin -arrow-.

-- Remove the pin -arrow- that was pressed out.

-- Unclip the bracket support -1-.

-- Disengage the bracket -1- and remove.
