Battery, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:
-- Insert the Battery - A- into the battery tray -1- so that the battery strip at the rear and sides touches the stop -arrows-.
Conditions
- It must not be possible to slide the Battery - A- any farther to the side or toward the rear.
-- Install the bracket -1-.
Conditions
- The bracket -1- must engage in the battery strip -arrow-.
-- Check the Battery -A- for a secure fit.
If the battery has been replaced:
-- Perform the necessary function/functions, using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
