Battery, Checking, 12V: Notes

Condition

• Vehicles with battery monitoring must only be checked using the Vehicle diagnostic tester . Exception: The Vehicle diagnostic tester refers to the Battery Tester :VAS 6161  in the test plan.
• Vehicles without battery monitoring must only be checked using the Battery Tester :VAS 6161  .

Quick selection

• Resting voltage test. Refer to Resting voltage test .
• Checking the battery using the vehicle diagnostic tester, vehicles with battery monitoring control module. Refer to Checking the battery using the vehicle diagnostic tester, with battery monitoring control module .
• Battery test with visual indicator. Refer to Battery test with visual indicator .
