Transmission Control Module, Removing And Installing: Installing
-- Connect the connector to the control module and lock it.
-- Insert the control module into the mounting tab -arrows- and lock on the retaining tab.
-- Install the wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
NOTE:
Perform a quick adaption after replacement of the transmission control module: Transmission fluid temperature 40 °C - 100 °C (104 °F - 212 °F) - select the "D" position, consistent acceleration (20%-30%) from the first to the fifth gear, de-select, three repetitions - select the "R" position, consistent acceleration (20%-30%), de-select, three repetitions. The quick adaption must be performed in real driving conditions, not on the hoist!
