Transmission Fluid Pan, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Insert the transmission fluid pan with the new seal. Be sure not to pinch any lines while doing so.

NOTE:

Make sure the transmission fluid pan gasket is seated correctly.

Tightening sequence

-- Secure the screws in the transmission fluid pan in the specified tightening sequence -1- to -13-.

-- Screw the ATF drain plug -arrow- back in with a new seal on the transmission -1- to the tightening specification.

-- Fill the transmission with ATF, check the ATF level, and add ATF if necessary. Refer to ATF, DRAINING AND FILLING .

Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Install the air filter housing with the air duct hose. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
