Fuel Level Sensor 2 G169, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

-- Check the fuel tank for contamination.

-- Make sure the fuel level sensor is secure by pulling on it.

-- Install the dry seal -1- into the opening in the fuel tank.

-- Make sure that the sensor floater arm is not damaged.

-- Coat the inside of the seal -1- with fuel.

-- Position the tab -2- in between the stops -3- and -4- -arrow-.

-- Push the sealing flange -1- downward against the spring force.

Condition

• The seal must not get damaged or crushed

-- Turn the sealing flange -1- in a way that the arrow -3- aligns on the fuel tank and the marking -2- on the sealing flange -1-.
