Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the door components support. Refer to SUPPORT FOR DOOR COMPONENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING  .

-- Remove the door handle. Refer to EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING  .

Door handle with lock cylinder

-- Remove lock cylinder. Refer to LOCK CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING  .

Door handle without lock cylinder

-- Guide the drift punch -4- in the center all the way in the housing -3- -arrow B- until the hook releases.

-- Guide the pry lever : 80-200  -2- in between the housing -3- and the backing plate -1- -arrow A-.

-- Lift out the housing -3- using the pry lever -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -4- and remove the backing plate -3-.

-- Unclip the wire from the mounting bracket -1-.

-- Remove the mounting bracket -1- from the door.

-- Unclip the release cable -2- from the catch.

-- Screw out the release cable pins -2- from the retaining bracket mount -1- -arrow A-.

-- Remove the release cable -2- from the mounting bracket -1- -arrow B-.
