Led Headlamps With Matrix-Beam, Adjusting

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Headlamp Adjusting Unit: VAS 621 001 
• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

-- Perform the basic setting of the headlamp range control in the multifunction Module 004B using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER, CONNECTING .

-- Press the function button -1- in the main menu of the Headlamp Adjusting Unit: VAS 621 001  .

-- Using the light selection buttons at the Headlamp Adjusting Unit: VAS 621 001  select the menu >>low beams<<.

1. Lateral adjustment
2. Height adjustment

-- Turn the adjusting screw for height adjustment -2- until the correct setting is achieved.

-- Turn the adjustment screw for lateral adjustment -1- until the correct setting is achieved.

For this, the test program is selecting reference segments in the matrix for each headlamp.

-- The function >>VW Seg<< must be selected in the Headlamp Adjusting Unit: VAS 621 001  for calibrating the high beam headlamps.

-- Transfer the values for the angular minutes (mind the signs) for both headlamps into the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Adjustment is completed afterward,
