Airbag Control Module J234, Removing And Installing, LHD: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Attach the connector until it clicks into place.

-- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

CAUTION:

Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.

Risk of injury.

- Keep as far away as possible from the pyrotechnic component when switching the ignition on.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Check and clear the DTC memory using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

If the Airbag Control Module -J234- is replaced:

-- Perform the "Start-up completion" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
