Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Installing

Release Cable, Securing

-- Guide the release cable -2- into the mounting bracket -1-.

-- Install the release cable pins into the mount -arrow b-.

-- Pivot the retainer -5- into the mount in the mounting bracket -arrow c- and engage.

-- Guide the mounting bracket -1- into the door -arrow a-.

-- Push the mounting bracket slightly forward.

-- Install the backing plate -3- and tighten the screw -4-.

Further installation is the reverse order of removal.
