Refrigerant R1234YF Pyrotechnical Characteristics

The vapor pressure curves of both refrigerant R1234yf and R134a are very similar across a large temperature range for this reason no differentiation of the two refrigerants is possible. Distinguishing is only possible by suitable sensors which can analyze the chemical characteristics of the refrigerant. Refer to REFRIGERANT R1234YF ANALYSIS .
With R1234yf, the A/C compressor is lubricated with special synthetic refrigerant oils, for example PAG oils (polyalkylene glycol oils) which are specified to the refrigerant R1234yf, the A/C compressor and the operating conditions of the specified additions (additives).
