Radiator/Coolant Fan Overview

1. Coolant Hose
   • To the coolant reservoir
   • Lift the retaining clamp to remove
   • Connecting, refer to Fig 2
2. O-Ring
   • Replace
3. Coolant Hose
   • Lift the retaining clamp to remove
   • Connecting, refer to Fig 2
4. O-Ring
   • Replace
5. Coolant Hose
   • Lift the retaining clamp to remove
   • Connecting, refer to Fig 2
6. O-Ring
   • Replace
7. Radiator
   • Removing and installing, refer to RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • After replacing, replace entire amount of coolant
8. Air Guide
9. Condenser
   • Removing and installing, refer to Refrigerant Circuit Components, Replacing .
10. Hydraulic Fluid Cooler
    • For power steering
    • Removing and Installing, refer to Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module J866, Removing and Installing .
11. Retaining Pin
    • Disengage and remove using screwdriver
12. Rubber Buffer
13. Rubber Bushing
    • For the radiator
14. Rubber Buffer
15. Bolt
    • 3.5 Nm
16. Air Guide
17. O-ring
    • Replace
18. Coolant Hose
    • Lift the retaining clamp to remove
    • Connecting, refer to Fig 2

-- Remove the old O-ring -2- in the coolant hose -3-.

-- Coat the new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.

-- Press the coolant hose onto the connection -1- until it engages audibly.

-- Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.

1. Coolant Fan 2 -V177-
   • With Coolant Fan Control Module 2 -J671-
   • Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 
2. Coolant Fan -V7-
   • With Coolant Fan Control Module -J293-
   • Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 
3. Fan Shroud
   • Removing and installing, refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 
4. Bolt
   • 3.5 Nm
5. Left Air Guide
6. Fan Wheel
   • The bolt must lock into the hole.
7. Bolt
   • 5 Nm
8. Fan Wheel
   • The bolt must lock into the hole.
9. Bolt
   • 5 Nm
10. Right Air Guide
11. Bolt
    • 3.5 Nm
