ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing, Round Version: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Replace the O-rings after removal.
-- Install the plate spring:
- It must contact the washer.
- The convex side of the plate spring faces upward.
-- Insert the tab -arrow B- into the cut-out in the transmission housing when installing the ATF cooler -1-.
-- Connect the coolant hoses to the ATF cooler according the markings made during the removal.
-- Check the coolant level and fill if necessary. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING (DDSA, DDSB) .
-- Install the battery tray and the battery. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and BATTERY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Check the ATF level. Refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING .
-- Install the air duct hose above the ATF cooler. Refer to OVERVIEW - AIR FILTER HOUSING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or OVERVIEW - AIR FILTER HOUSING (DDSA, DDSB) .
-- Install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (DDSA, DDSB) .
-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (DDSA, DDSB) .
