Rearview Camera -R189-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.

-- Then remove the ignition key, if equipped.

-- Remove The Rear Lid Trim Panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Detach the connectors -1- and -2- from the mounts.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1- and -2-.

-- Loosen the wire from the bracket -3-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the pivoting emblem.

-- Turn the pivoting emblem with the rearview camera housing and the pivoting motor -1- to the right as far as the stop and press it inward out of the mount in the rear lid.

-- Remove the water drain hose from the hose grommet on the bottom of the pivoting emblem.

-- Remove the pivoting emblem with the rearview camera housing and pivoting motor.
