Torque Support And CROSSMEMBER, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner -1-, refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the noise insulations -1 and 2-, refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS6208 under engine.

-- Remove the drain plug -2- and drain the coolant.

-- Lift the clip -1- and disconnect the coolant hose from under the right of the radiator.

-- Open the clamp -arrow- and from the under left of the radiator remove the connection.

-- Remove the air guide hose from the air guide pipe by loosening the hose clamp -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and nut -3- and the lock carrier right brace -2-.

-- Remove bolts -arrow-, Press stop -1- for the torque support towards the engine.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -arrows- and the crossmember -2- for the torque support.

-- Loosen the bolts -1- on the subframe just enough until it is possible to free up and remove the crossmember -2- in direction of -arrow-.
