Left Engine Mount, Removing And Installing, Vehicles From My 2014: Removing

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-, refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Support the engine in its installed position, refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLED POSITION .

-- Remove the front section -1- of the left front wheel housing liner, refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the connector -1- from the bracket and disconnect it.

-- Free up the wiring harness -3- from the cylinder head cover.

NOTE: Ignore -item 2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338- and free up the wire.

NOTE: Ignore items -2 and 3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Engine Temperature Control Sensor -G694- and free up the wire.

NOTE: Ignore -item 2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- from the Left Electrohydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve -N144-.

NOTE: Ignore items -1 and 2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428- and free up the wire.

NOTE: Ignore -item 2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the Transmission Coolant Valve -N488-.

NOTE: Ignore -item 2 and arrows-.
CAUTION:

There is a risk of destroying the transmission control module (Mechatronic) with static discharge.

  • Do not touch contacts in transmission connector with hands.

-- To discharge static electricity, touch the transmission housing (without wearing gloves).

-- Turn the twist lock counter-clockwise -arrow- and disconnect the connector from the transmission.

-- Free up the wiring harness on the transmission.

-- Turn the tensioning element clockwise using the TORX Socket - T60 T40087 -arrow- to release the tension on the ribbed belt.

-- Remove the ribbed belt from the A/C compressor ribbed belt pulley.

-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the Engine Speed Sensor -G28- and free up the wires on the transmission.

-- Free up the wiring harness on the transmission.

NOTE: Ignore -item 1-.

-- Remove the connector -1- from the bracket and disconnect it.

-- Free up the wiring harness and place it on the A/C compressor.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging refrigerant lines and hoses.

  • Do not stretch, kink or bend refrigerant lines and hoses.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-, pull the A/C compressor off of the bracket and tie it up toward the front.

-- Remove the left subframe bolt -2-.

NOTE: The left subframe bolts -1 and 3- and all of the right subframe bolts remain installed.

-- Remove the connector -2- from the bracket and slightly press it to the side.

NOTE: Ignore -item 1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- from the Left Electrohydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve -N144-.

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

NOTE: Ignore -item 1-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and move the retaining plate to the side.
