Rearview Camera -R189-, Removing And Installing: Removing

The Rearview Camera -R189- has a trailing cable. The vehicle wiring harness couplings are located in the rear lid.

-- Remove The Rear Lid Trim Panel, refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, remove the bolts -2- and the -1- and the anti-theft protection.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the retaining plate -2-.

The Rearview Camera -R189- is secured in the grip piece.

-- Remove the Rearview Camera -R189- from the grip piece with a suitable tool.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connectors -1- and -2- inside the rear lid.
