-- Remove the reducing agent tank. Refer to REDUCING AGENT TANK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Protect the connectors, for example with a plastic bag or cable ties, before coating with reducing agent. The connectors can be damaged because the reducing agent has a tendency to seep and it crystallizes as it dries.
-- Disconnect the ventilation line -arrow-.
-- Remove the bolts -A- and remove the Reducing Agent Pump -V437- upward.
-- Cut off the cable tie -arrows- on the sealing ring.
-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- from the right reducing agent tank.
-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- from the Reducing Agent Reservoir Processing Unit -G698-.
-- Place the Wrench - Union Nut: T50014 on the ring as illustrated and remove the ring.
The cover may only be tilted a maximum of 30° after opening it. This prevents damage to the wires and the suction lance inside the delivery module.
-- Open the delivery module cover, using the Trim Removal Wedge: 3409 if necessary.
-- Carefully reach into the delivery module chamber and turn it counter-clockwise to loosen it from its retainer.
-- Remove the delivery module upward from the reducing agent tank.
