Oil Cooler, Removing And Installing: Installing: Notes

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following: 

Note the installation position of the bracket -1- on the oil cooler.

The tabs -arrows- on the bracket -1- must face forward toward the oil cooler.

-- Install the bracket -1- using the bolt -2-.

-- Slide the intake and return hoses onto the bracket -1- as far as the stop.

NOTE:

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate to the model. Refer to the Parts Information.

For the correct type of power steering fluid. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Check the hydraulic fluid level and fill if necessary. Refer to the appropriate service information.

-- Bleed the steering system and check for leaks. Refer to POWER STEERING SYSTEM, BLEEDING .
