-- Bring the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- into the service mode. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster -KX2-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the fastener -3- and remove the holder together with the control module -2-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors from the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-.

-- Press the locking hooks -2- and remove the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- from the holder -3-.
