Center Console, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Pull the parking brake lever -1- into its highest position.

-- Remove the center console trim without vent. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE TRIM WITHOUT VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the center console trim with vent. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE TRIM WITH VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the caps -4- on both sides and remove the bolts -3- (6 Nm).

-- Remove the screw -5- on both sides (1.5 Nm).

-- Loosen the trim on both sides -4- from the retainers -3-.

-- Remove the guide on both sides -1- from the brackets -2-.

-- Remove the trim on both sides -4- from the center console.

-- Remove the center console cover. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front center console storage compartment. Refer to FRONT CENTER CONSOLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the screw -1- on both sides from the center console -2- (1.5 Nm).

-- Remove the screws -3- on both sides from the center console -2- (1.5 Nm).

-- Pull the center console -1- slightly to the rear until the guides on both sides are free -arrow-.

-- Remove the center console -1- from the vehicle in direction of -arrow-. Disconnect the wire harnesses (depending on the vehicle equipment level).
