Fuel Injectors, Removing And Installing: Installing
-- Clean the fuel injector holes in the cylinder head thoroughly with the :T10133/4 .
-- Replace the O-ring, the support washer, the spring element and the combustion chamber seal. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SEALS, REPLACING .
-- Coat the O-ring between the fuel injector and the fuel rail lightly with clean engine oil.
Sealing ring -Item 4- 4 must also be replaced at fuel injectors for cylinders 1, 3 and 5.
Do not oil or grease the combustion chamber sealing ring (Teflon® ) on the fuel injector.
-- Press fuel injector by hand into cylinder head as far as stop. Do not press on the spring element at the same time.
Do not pull the fuel injectors into their seats over the fuel rail threaded connection. This will damage the spring element.
-- Make sure the fuel injectors are installed securely in the cylinder head.
Fuel Injectors for Cylinders 1, 3 and 5
-- Install the intake manifold lower section and fuel rail. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD LOWER SECTION WITH FUEL RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Fuel Injectors for Cylinders 2, 4 and 6
-- Install the fuel rail. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD LOWER SECTION WITH FUEL RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Check the spring elements. They must not be pressed >>flat<< -arrows-.
-- Install the intake manifold upper section. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Vehicles from 06/2013: delete the fuel injector adaptation values using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester; Guided Functions ; delete fuel injector adaptation values .
