Battery, Disconnecting And Connecting, Engine Compartment Battery: Connecting

CAUTION:

Pay attention to the information regarding the threaded connection for the battery terminals. Refer to OVERVIEW - BATTERY .

-- Attach the battery ground cable terminal clamp to the battery negative terminal and tighten the clamp -1- to the tightening specification given in the overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - BATTERY .

-- Close the cover tab -1- on the battery jacket.

Steps After Connecting The Battery: 

-- Turn on the ignition.

-- Check time and adjust if necessary.

-- Window, open and close all the way.

-- Then, with the windows closed, pull the power window switch until the relay audibly switches.

-- Check the window regulator convenience switch.

While comfort switching is operated, window must close without holding the power window switch.

NOTE:

After connecting the power supply, the ABS warning lamp may only go out after the vehicle has been driven a few yards.
