Oil Level, Checking With Oil Level Tester

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

-- Adjust the value on the oil level display test on the upper scale -arrow- by opening the knurled screw and moving the adjusting ring.

-- Insert the oil level display tester all the way (adjusting ring) into the tube for the oil dipstick, then pull it out and read the oil level.

-- Read the value on the lower scale.

    • >>Version 1  << engines only equipped through MY 2012.
    • From MY 2013: Engine codes CCWA and CCWB are assigned to >>Version 1  <<. All other engine codes use the >>Version 2  << adjusting values.
  2. Differentiation of 2.0 TFSI Engine Versions: 
    • >>Version 1  << engines only equipped through MY 2012.
    • From MY 2013: Engine codes CDNB, CDNC and CHJA are assigned to >>Version 1  <<. All other engine codes use the >>Version 2  << adjusting values.
  3. Differentiation of 3.0 TFSI Engine Versions:
