Striker Pin, Adjusting

NOTE:

The following describes adjusting the right front door. Adjusting the left front door is identical.

When closing, the front door must latch completely without having to press it and it must not have any play.

The door must not be pushed up or down when adjusting the striker pin.

The striker pin can be used to adjust:

-- Loosen the striker pin -1- by loosening the screws -2- on the A-pillar.

-- Adjust front door with striker pin -1- so that front door aligns with rear door when closed (wind noise).

-- Tighten the bolts -2- for the striker pin -1-.

Tightening specifications: Bolts -2- 20 Nm.
