Overview - Shift Forks
NOTE:
- The shift fork group (-Item 7- → Item 7 ) does not need to be disassembled to remove and install shift segments, lock washers and angular contact ball bearings.
- Shift Forks, Servicing. Refer to → " SHIFT FORKS, SERVICING " .
- 5th Gear Shift Segment
- Identification. Refer to → Removing the Lock Washer .
- The shift segment must still rotate easily after the lock washer is installed.
- Lock Washer
- Replace after removing
- Removing. Refer to → Removing the Lock Washer .
- Installing. Refer to → Installing the Lock Washer .
- 5th Gear Shift Fork
- Adjusting. Refer to → 5th Gear Locking Collar, Adjusting .

- 25 Nm

- 1st/2nd Gear Shift Segment
- Identification → Removing the Lock Washer .
- The shift segment must still rotate easily after the lock washer is installed.
- 3rd/4th Gear Shift Segment
- Identification → Removing the Lock Washer .
- The shift segment must still rotate easily after the lock washer is installed.
