Heater And A/C Unit, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal while noting the following:
- A second technician is required to install the heater and A/C unit.
-- Make sure the condensation water hose -3- is seated correctly when installing.
-- The coding -2 and arrow- must line up with the heater and A/C unit -1-.
-- If a commercially available cable tie was used to secure the condensation water drain -3-, replace it.
-- The condensation water drain hose must be routed as shown from underneath the wiring harness of the Airbag Control Module -J234- -4-.
-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING [FOR ENGINE(S) CNSB, CNSA, CXBB, CXBA, CXCB, CXCA] and COOLANT, FILLING [FOR ENGINE(S) CRUA] .
Vehicles With Refrigerant R134a
-- Fill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CHARGING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION and/or REFRIGERANT, FILLING IN A/C SERVICE STATION .
-- Put the A/C system into operation after filling. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, OPERATING AFTER CHARGING .
Vehicles With Refrigerant R1234yf
-- Fill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CHARGING and/or REFRIGERANT, FILLING IN RESERVOIR .
-- Put the A/C system into operation after filling. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, OPERATING AFTER CHARGING .
-- Check the heating and A/C system function.
