11.6 Automatic Distance Regulation, Initializing
NOTE:
It is necessary to adapt a Distance Regulation Control Module - J428- only when it is being used for the first time or was replaced.
Procedure
- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- In the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, select "Guided Fault Finding".
- Using the "Go to" button, select the "Function/Component Selection" and the following menu options in sequence:
- Chassis
- Slave
- On Board Diagnostics (OBD) - capable systems
- 8B Distance Regulation Control Module 2 - J850-
- 8B Distance regulation control module, functions
- 8B Distance Regulation Control Module 2 - J850- replacing
