Intake Manifold, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Place the new seals on the cylinder head on the alignment pins.

CAUTION:

Do not damage the intake manifold sealing surface by attaching the alignment pins.

-- Place the intake manifold on the alignment pins on the cylinder head.

-- Tighten the bolts 1 to 10 in to the tightening specification and sequence.

The rest of the installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seal after removal.

-- Install the air filter housing, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the high pressure line, refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINE, INSTALLING .

-- Install the front upper coolant pipes, refer to FRONT UPPER COOLANT PIPE .
