Intake Manifold, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Place the new seals on the cylinder head on the alignment pins.

CAUTION:

Do not damage the intake manifold sealing surface by attaching the alignment pins.

-- Place the intake manifold on the alignment pins on the cylinder head.

-- Tighten the bolts 1 to 10 according to the tightening specification and sequence.

Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal, while noting the following:

NOTE:

Replace The Seal After Removal.

-- Install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the high pressure line. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINE, INSTALLING .

-- Install the upper front coolant pipes. Refer to UPPER FRONT COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, FILLING .

NOTE:

Used coolant cannot be used again.
