Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

NOTE:

Pay attention to the installed position of all the components.

Replace the gasket if damaged.

Rout the wires correctly in the mount.

-- Pull on the Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169- to check that it is secure.

-- Coat the inner side of the seal -3- with fuel.

-- Remove the suction jet pump -1-. Refer to SUCTION JET PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- When installing the Fuel Gauge Sensor 2 -G169- -2- pay attention that the sensor for the fuel gauge is not bent.

-- Press the sealing flange downward against the spring force and move the sealing flange into the installation position.

-- The arrow -3- on the fuel tank must point to the mark -2- on the sealing flange -1-.

CAUTION:

Risk of leaking.

-- Tighten the locking ring using the :T10202 .

-- Pull on the connector to make sure it is secure.
