Engine, Securing To The Engine/Transmission Holder

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required

Requirements

The engine/transmission assembly removed and secured to the Engine/Gearbox Jack - Engine Support T10359.

Procedure

-- Separate the transmission from the engine, refer to ENGINE/TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING AND ASSEMBLING .

-- Install the Engine Sling 2024A as shown in the figure and lift the engine using the Shop Crane VAS 6100 from the Engine and Gearbox Jack VAS 6931.

CAUTION:

Use the pins on the hooks to prevent damaging the engine.

-- Secure the engine to the Engine and Transmission Holder VAS 6095.
