Engine, Securing On Engine And Transmission Holder

NOTE:

The engine can be attached to the Engine And Transmission Holder VAS6095 using universal mounts or with Engine Support 3269. Use the Engine Support 3269 when working on the chain drive.

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Procedure 

-- Separate the engine and the transmission, refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING AND CONNECTING .

-- Engage the Lifting Tackle 3033 as follows and lift out of the engine using Shop Crane VAS6100 from Engine/Gearbox Jack VAG1383 A.

Vibration damper side: position 3.

Flywheel side: Position 11

Secure the engine with the engine bracket on the Engine And Transmission HolderVAS6095.

Fasten the engine to the Engine And Transmission HolderVAS6095 using the Engine Support 3269.
