Test Step 4 - Liftgate Latch Cinch Driver Circuit Short to the Logic Ground Circuit

• Measure the resistance between the logic ground circuit and the liftgate latch cinch driver circuit.
• Wiggle the harness and check for an intermittent short condition.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

No

• Go to Test Step 5 Test Step 5 - Liftgate Latch Release Driver Circuit Short To Ground 

Yes

• Repair the liftgate latch cinch driver wire for a short to the logic ground circuit.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
