Engine Support Insulators: Installation

Both engine support insulators
- Position the engine support insulator and install the 4 bolts.
- Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
- Install the EOP switch.
- Tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft).
- Connect the EOP switch electrical connector.
- Lower the engine and remove the special tools.
- Install the 4 engine support insulator-to-crossmember nuts.
- Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
- Install a new O-ring seal and the heater outlet tube.
- Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant prior to installation.
- Hand-tighten the heater outlet tube upper stud and install the lower stud.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Connect the oil fill tube to the RH valve cover.
- Install the oil fill tube support bracket bolt.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Install the transmission-to-engine bolts.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Install the shield and the retainers.
- Install the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to Intake Manifold .
- Install the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
- Install the engine cooling fan and fan shroud. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.
- Fill and bleed the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.

NOTE:
Do not reuse the O-ring seal.
