Fuel Pump Module: Installing

-- Install the new fuel pump module O-ring seal to the fuel tank.

CAUTION:

The fuel pump module must be installed correctly to prevent damage to the fuel pump module.

-- Line the fuel pump module mounting tab to the arrow on the fuel tank.

-- Set the fuel pump module lock ring into place.

-- Install the fuel pump lock ring wrench 9340 (1) and rotate clockwise until the fuel pump module lock ring (2) is seated and locked into place.

-- Connect the fuel line quick connect fitting (2) to fuel pump module (3). Refer to QUICK CONNECT FITTING DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Connect the wiring harness electrical connector (1) to fuel pump module (3).

-- Install fuel tank. Refer to FUEL TANK .
