-- Position the driver front seat to the full up position.

-- Disconnect the negative battery cable, refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Working from the front of the seat, disconnect the electrical connectors (5).

-- Unsnap the tabs (1) securing the memory seat module (4) into the bracket (3).

-- Pivot the MSM upward to remove it from the front of the seat frame (2).

Installing

CAUTION:

The MSM mounting tabs can be damaged during module installation. Use care to properly align tabs to prevent binding that could result in tab breakage.

-- Place the MSM (4) into position making sure the tabs (1) are properly aligned with the bracket (3).

-- Push down on the MSM snapping the clips into place in the bracket.

-- Connect the MSM harness connectors (5).

-- Connect the negative battery cable, refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Using an appropriate scan tool go to the MSM miscellaneous functions and perform the standardization routine.

-- Verify system and vehicle operation.
