Road Test With Testing Equipment Safety Precautions
If special testing equipment is required during road test, note the following:
WARNING:
Distraction and testing equipment that is not secure increase the risk of an accident.
- Operating testing equipment while driving causes it to shift position.
- Testing equipment that is not secure increases the risk of injury.
- Always secure the test and measuring devices to the rear seat.
- Operate the test and measuring devices with a second person.
- Operate the test and measuring device from the rear seat.
- Do not operate the test and measuring device from the front passenger seat.
- In an accident, the air bag deployment may cause injury to the person.
