Adaptation of Keys with Radio-Frequency Remote Control

Adaptation of keys with remote control is performed using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B).

- Select "Guided Fault Finding" on the vehicle diagnostic tester (VAS 5051 B).

- Using the GO TO button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options one after the other:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment (Repair Groups 01; 27; and 90 to 97)

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• 09 - Vehicle electrical system control module

• 09 - Functions

• Key with remote control operation, adapting
