Disassembly And Assembly: Strut: Installing

-- Install the coil spring on the lower spring plate using the spring compressor V.A.G 1752/1.

The end of the spring coil must rest against the stop -arrow-.

-- Tighten the new hex nut onto the shock absorber.

-- Relieve the tension on the spring compressor V.A.G 1752/1 and remove it from the coil spring.

-- Install the strut. refer to INSTALLING .
