WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required

Selector lever cable must always be adjusted if:

-- Move the selector lever into the "P" position.

-- Move the lever/selector shaft -3- into the "P" position (push the lever to the rear).

WARNING:

Make sure the parking lock is latched.

NOTE:

Make sure the transmission is in the "P" position (parking lock is engaged) if raising the vehicle. It must not be possible to turn both front wheels in one direction at the same time.

-- Lightly tap the button in the handle forward and backward and make sure to keep the handle in the "P" position.

This locates the cable core in its optimal position.

-- Tighten the bolt -2- to 13 Nm.
