Wiper, Moving Into Service Position

CAUTION:
Risk of damaging the hood by running the wipers back in basic position.
- Do not drive a vehicle with windshield wiper arms folded up.
- The windshield wipers automatically go back into their rest position when the wiper switch is activated or when driving faster than 6 km/h (4 mph).
CAUTION:
Danger of windshield wiper blade damage due to freezing.
- If frost is present, check to see if the windshield wiper blades are frozen.
To remove wiper blades, wiper arms must be driven into "service/winter position". The "service/winter position" is activated by operating the windshield wiper lever in the "one-touch wiping" position within 10 seconds after switching off the ignition, refer to Owner's Manual.
